Fantastic, I love your philosophy, and the quality of your playing. Mikyung Sung works similarly, usually playing cello or violin music straight from the original part, including works by Brahms, Bruch, Elgar, Franck, Grieg, Massenet, Mendelssohn, Rachmaninoff, Saint-Saens, Schubert, etc. Also it’s great you get such a pure, beautiful, singing tone with standard tuning. Some like Bozo Paradzik sound great too, but are tuned up a whole fourth, which gives a huge advantage in ease of playing the higher notes!
